Basil-Infused Orzo Pasta
Orzo is a form of short-cut pasta, shaped like a large grain of rice and is a great alternative to larger, heavier forms of pasta for your dinner side dish. The basil essential oil used in this dish is balanced by the bitterness of the oil and radicchio with the sweetness of shallots and sun-dried tomato. The main pictured is a simple pan-seared salmon basted with thyme essential oil butter. Simply delicious!
The wine enjoyed with the meal was Screw It! Shiraz.
